Ingredients

1 TBS. yeast
1 TBS. sugar
¼ cup warm water
Mix these together and set aside.
1 cup scalded milk 2 minutes in the microwave)
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
4 ½ cups flour

Directions

Mix yeast mixture together. Scald the milk. Put scalded milk in a bowl (warm to touch so won't kill yeast). Add melted butter, sugar, beaten eggs and salt. Add yeast mixture. Add flour and mix and then knead it. Let it rise to double in size. Cut dough in half and roll 2 circles to about ½ inch thick. Brush with melted butter. Cut with a pizza cutter into 16 triangles. Roll up each triangle from the large end to the point. Brush with butter. Let rise again until double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 8–10 minutes. (These are also very good as cinnamon rolls just add sugar, cinnamon and nuts and roll up and cook. Frost with butter cream frosting.)
