1 TBS. yeast into ½ c. warm water
1 ¾ cup warm milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
½ cup melted margarine
5 ½ cup flour
Put yeast into ½ c. warm milk. Let it dissolve. In another bowl, add warm milk, then put sugar, salt, melted margarine, and flour in and mix. Knead and then let it rise for about 1 hour. Roll dough out onto a floured surface to about ½ inch. Cut with a glass. Take circles of dough and stretch a little to make an oval and brush with melted margarine and fold over and pinch the edge. Put on greased pan and again brush with melted margarine. Let rise to double in size and bake at 350 degrees for about 10–15 minutes or until golden brown. This dough is wonderful for cinnamon rolls also.
