1 pkg. yeast (1 ½ TBS.) into ½ c. warm water
½ c. sugar2 tsp. salt
½ c. butter (softened)1 c. warm water3 eggs beaten
4 ½ c. flour
ORANGE MIX:
Grated rind of 1 orange
1 ½ c. sugar
¼ c. melted butter
Mix these ingredients together & spread on dough when asked to in the recipe.
Dissolve the yeast into the warm water. In a bowl, add sugar, salt, butter and 1 c. warm water and mix together. Add eggs and mix. Add flour and mix well. Let the dough rise until double in size. Punch it down and let it rise again & punch it down again. Then place in the refrigerator until chilled. Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll to 12"x6". Spread the orange mixture on the dough. Roll into a loose roll and seal. Cut into 1 inch pieces. Seal the bottom and place in greased muffin tins. Let rise for 1 ½ hours and bake at 400 for 7–10 minutes.
