Ingredients

2 ½ c. Hot water
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp salt
2 c. flour

Directions

Mix above ingredients until gooey and smooth in mixer with dough hook. Add 1 Tbsp. yeast and 3 to 4 cups flour until dough cleans sides of the bowl. Mix for 5–6 minutes. Cover and let rise 20 minutes. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Divide dough in half. Form into 2 loaves on greased baking sheet. Slash top every 2 inches. Brush with beaten egg. Bake 30 minutes.
