2 ½ c. water
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. yeast
1 ½ tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. honey
5–6–
7 cups flour (I think I did 5–6 cups) until right consistency
Mix the above ingredients and then spray the counter with Pam and put dough on the counter and cover. Let raise until double in size. Roll out in to a rectangle about ¼ inch thickness. Melt 1 cube of butter and spread on the dough. Mix 1 cup parmesan cheese with 1 Tbsp. garlic salt & 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes. Sprinkle all over the butter. Fold the dough in ½ (so it looks like 2 smaller rectangles). Cut dough into 1 inch strips. Twist ends in opposite directions and then place twisted breadstick on cookie sheet. Continue until all of the breadsticks are side by side on the cookie sheet. Let them raise–growing together until double in size. Cook at 350 degrees for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown. Great with Chili!
