Easy Scones:Buy Rhodes Rolls and let them rise on a greased cookie sheet for about 2 ½ hrs. Gently pull them apart with floured hands. Fry them in hot oil on both sides until golden brown. Yummy. Put butter and jam or honey on top. Also good for Navajo Tacos. For Navajo Tacos—put beans, hamburg, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, olives, etc. on the scones. Add salsa sauce and guacamole.
Homemade Scones:Use the Parkerhouse Roll recipe. Gently pull the dough with floured hands and shape it into scones and fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
