4 ½ c. flour
1 ½ c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ c. butter flavored Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt

Cream shortening, add sugar and eggs. Add milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll out thicker than other cut cookies on counter and cut cookies into shapes. Bake at 350 for 10–12 minutes. These are soft cookies. (They are like those large Grandma's Cookies you can buy in the store with pink frosting.) Cool. Frost with frosting. So good!!!
