Fruit Cocktail Pudding Cake

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1 egg
2 c. fruit cocktail with juice
Topping: ½ c. nuts and ½ c. brown sugar mixed together

Directions

In a bowl, add sugar, flour, baking soda, & salt. Add egg and fruit cocktail and mix together. Put in a greased 9x9 pan. Mix the topping and put on top of batter. Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees. Good with ice cream, whipped cream or vanilla sauce. We like the vanilla sauce — the recipe is with the sauces.
