¾ c. butter or margarine
2 TBS. white sugar
1 2/3 c. flour
3 egg yolks
2 ¼ c. brown sugar
1 c. nuts chopped
¾ c. coconut
3 egg whites beaten stiff with a mixer

Cream butter, add white sugar and mix. Add flour, mix well. Pat into a 13x9x2 cake pan. Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven. While the bottom is cooking, beat the egg yolks, gradually add brown sugar and mix. Add nuts and coconut. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in egg whites to the sugar mixture. Spread on the baked mixture in the pan. Bake 25–30 minutes longer. Cut into squares. Dust with powdered sugar.
