1 lemon cake mix
1 small pkg. lime jello
2 ½ c. cool whip (or real cream)
1 small pkg. instant lemon pudding
1 ½ c. cold milk
Dissolve jello into ¾ c. boiling water. Add ½ c. cold water and set aside. Mix and bake cake. Poke holes through the cake about 1 inch apart. Slowly pour the gelatin into holes all over the top of cake. Refrigerate cake while you mix the topping. Topping: mix the pudding with the milk and let it set up and then fold the cool whip or whipped cream together. Spread on top of cooled cake. Refrigerate and enjoy!
You can make this cake with white cake and whatever jello flavor you like. Use a vanilla instant pudding. Chocolate cake with cherry Jell–O—a seven minute frosting is good on this. You don't need a frosting—put fruit on top to match the Jell–O. Be creative!!
