Homemade Macaroni & Cheese šŸ§€

Ingredients

3 c. raw macaroni
about ½ c. margarine
¾ –1 lb. cheddar cheese sliced
flour
milk
salt & pepper

Directions
  1. Cook macaroni in salted water until tender & drain.
  2. In a casserole dish, take about 1/3 of the macaroni and put in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Put salt and pepper on it
  4. Sprinkle about 2/3 TBS. of flour over the macaroni,
  5. Dot margarine all over it,
  6. put the sliced cheese all over the macaroni.
  7. Repeat steps 2-6 two more times. 8 Add milk until it reaches 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the dish.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or 15–20 minutes in the microwave. Stir part way through to mix. Stir at the end before serving.

The kids like ketchup on top. We like stewed or bottled tomatoes and croutons.
