Homemade Macaroni & Cheese šŸ§€

Ingredients

3 c. raw macaroni
about Ā½ c. margarine
Ā¾ ā€“1 lb. cheddar cheese sliced
flour
milk
salt & pepper

Directions
  1. Cook macaroni in salted water until tender & drain.
  2. In a casserole dish, take about 1/3 of the macaroni and put in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Put salt and pepper on it
  4. Sprinkle about 2/3 TBS. of flour over the macaroni,
  5. Dot margarine all over it,
  6. put the sliced cheese all over the macaroni.
  7. Repeat steps 2-6 two more times. 8 Add milk until it reaches 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the dish.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or 15ā€“20 minutes in the microwave. Stir part way through to mix. Stir at the end before serving.

The kids like ketchup on top. We like stewed or bottled tomatoes and croutons.
