2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. shortening
½ tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. milk
2 eggs

In a bowl, add the dry ingredients. Add the shortening, vanilla and milk and mix. Mix the 2nd milk with the eggs & add this to the other ingredients. Mix together. Pour into a greased cake pan and bake at 350 for 30–35 min.
