1 cup margarine
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
½ cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
1 cube margarine
almost the whole bag of powder sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2–3 tsp. HOT water
dash of salt
Cream butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla together. Add dry ingredients. Spray 9"x13" baking pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 35–40 minutes. You do not want to over bake the brownies yuck! So, make sure to do the toothpick trick. Mom used to always frost the brownies too with at least one inch thick of chocolate creamy frosting. Now you can see why they were called 10 lb. brownies!
