Mix together separately and add to first 5 ingredients.

2 c. margarine
1 ½ c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla 2 egg
½ c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda ¼ c. boiling water 6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
Icing for cookies

Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla, eggs, milk together. Add soda & water mixture. Add flour, salt & baking powder. Mix well. Roll out on floured surface and cut into shapes. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12–15 minutes. Frost when cool with a butter cream frosting.
