1 cup white sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter (she uses margarine)
1 cup cooking oil (she uses Crisco Oil)
2 eggs
Cream these ingredients.
Add:
4 cups flour plus 4 TBS.
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
½ tsp. salt (she does not put salt in)
1 TBS. vanilla
Mix well and drop on an ungreased cookie sheets abt. large walnut size–flatten a wee bit. Sprinkle with sugar or frost them when cooked. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
