Chicken cooked & cut into small pieces
1 c. chicken broth
¼ c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 ¾ c. milk
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 TBS. undiluted orange juice
rice cooked
crushed pineapple
coconut
mandarin oranges
green onions
celery
cheese grated
slivered almonds
tomatoes
chow mein noodles
olives
Cook chicken and cut into small pieces. Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and make a paste. Add milk slowly, add broth and thicken. Add salt and pepper. Add chicken to the sauce. Cook rice. In individual bowls have these items that you like: crushed pineapple, coconut, chopped green onion, chopped celery, shredded cheese, slivered almonds, tomatoes–chopped, chow mein dry noodles, whatever nuts or fruits you can think of. Put rice on your plate and put the chicken gravy on top of rice. Add whatever else you like that is in the bowls. Enjoy!!
