Chicken Parmigiana

Ingredients

3 Chicken breasts, split and pounded until½ inch thick
2 eggs, lightly beaten
½ Cup fine, dry, Italian bread crumbs
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

Heat together sauce:
3 (8oz) cans tomato sauce ½ tsp basil
¼ tsp garlic powder 2 tsp butter

Directions

Dip chicken breast into slightly beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. Then coat with bread crumbs. Brown quickly in hot oil and remove to shallow baking dish. Pour sauce over Chicken. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350, then uncover. Place pieces of Mozzarella cheese on each piece of chicken and leave in oven until melted. About 5 minutes. You may serve over noodles.
