Vanilla Pie Filling

Ingredients

2 c. milk
5 TBS. flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 eggs
½ c sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Scald 1 ½ c. milk and stir the other ½ c. milk into the flour and salt making a smooth paste. Pour the flour mixture into the hot milk and stir until it thickens. Beat eggs and add sugar and beat again. Then stir this egg/sugar mixture into the hot mixture & cook for about 2 minutes. Cool a little and add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell.
