Ingredients

Sort and clean desired amount of beans. Soak overnight in fresh water. Next morning, drain the water from beans. Add clean, soaked beans to boiling water. (two times water per beans). When beans come to a second boil, reduce heat and add fresh, cleaned and gutted jalepenos, and crushed garlic. Cover leaving a little room for ventilation. Cook for 2–4 hours, or when beans are soft enough to bite through. Add desired amount of salt.

Directions

Try them on tostadas without the meat!
Kids love beans and cheese burritos in school lunches! (if they are wrapped in wax paper, they will not stick.)
When you have tortilla chips on hand, kids like to heat up leftover beans and cheese an use them as a dip. Great after school snack!
