8 quarts popped popcorn
2 cups sugar
½ cup water
1/8 tsp cream of tarter
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp red food coloring
Mix and boil together sugar, water, cream of tarter, butter and coloring. Boil for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let set for 2 minutes. Pour over popcorn and keep stirring until well coated and popcorn turns sugary.
