6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders 12 mushrooms, sliced
6 slices Provolone cheese ½ c. chicken broth
1 egg, beaten butter
Seasoned bread crumbs lemon juice
Dip chicken in the beaten egg. Dip in bread crumbs. Brown the chicken in a skillet with melted butter. Place the browned chicken in a casserole dish and top with sliced mushrooms and Provolone cheese slices. Baste chicken with chicken broth and lemon juice. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
