Bread Pudding

Ingredients

12 slices bread buttered on both sides with ½ cup melted butter. Place in 2 in deep pan.
CUSTARD: 4 Eggs and 2 yolks whisk well and slowly add 3.4–cup sugar. Add 1–cup cream, 3 cups milk, 2 tsp. Vanilla. Pour over bread and put casserole in larger pan with hot water in it. Bake 375 for about 1 hour or until puffy and slightly browned. Top with fresh fruit or if you wish cover bottom of pan with drained peaches, or blueberries. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
