Turkey
Onion
Celery
Carrots
Water
If turkey is frozen—thaw. Take the giblets and neck out of the two cavities—front and back. Put turkey into a turkey pan and put the giblets and neck in the bottom of the pan. Cut onion in pieces and put into pan around turkey. Add a couple of stalks of celery and some carrots around edge of turkey. (Celery & carrots not necessary.) Check on the wrapper of the turkey for the weight and see how long it should cook. I add about 2 more hours and put the oven on 300 degrees and cook it. We enjoy our turkey when it is very tender.
