Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

1 loaf of sliced French bread
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
¼ c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cool whip
1 & ½ c. milk
6 eggs
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
pinch of salt
¼ c. sugar

Directions

Use a 9x13 pan. Lightly spray the pan with Pam. Place slices of the French bread in the bottom of the pan. Cream together softened cream cheese, softened cool whip, vanilla & ¼ c. sugar. Spread on top of French bread layer. Add another layer of French bread. Mix together eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt & sugar. Add milk. Pour over the bread layers. Put in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put in oven and bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm with flavored syrup.
