1 cup white rice
1 cup water
2 Tbsp. butter
Bring to a boil uncovered. Cover and cook rice until its dry. (Until the water boils off).
Then add:
5 cups of milk
½ cup sugar
1 stick of cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt (pinch of salt)
Bring to boil and cover –––simmer on low for 45 minutes. Until all the moisture is absorbed. Whipped cream can be added or put on top.
Serve with Raspberry Sauce:
1 pkg. frozen raspberries
½ cup sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
a little water
Put into saucepan cook on low. I put cornstarch into a little water to a paste and then put it into the raspberries and cook until thickened. Very good!!!
