Lemon Jello Salad

Ingredients

2 pkg. lemon jello
2 c. hot water
Let it set until syrupy.

Add:
1 c. drained pineapple
1 c. miniature marshmallows
2 bananas—sliced(celery & nuts optional)
2 c. 7–Up

Stir all these ingredients together and put into a 13x9x2 dish. Let this set up in the refrigerator.

Directions

Topping:Mix sugar and flour together:½ c. sugar2 TBS. flourStir in: 1 c. drained pineapple juice and 1 egg beatenAdd 2 TBS. of butterCook slowly until thickened and cool.Fold in 1 c. cool whipPut on top of Jello and let it all set until firmOptional: grated cheddar cheese on top. Very good!!!*This Jello could be orange with mandarin oranges.
