Ingredients

Meat Sauce:
8 oz. ground sausage or beef or both
1 onion chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
4 c. spaghetti sauce
Filling Sauce:
1 ½ c. ricotta cheese
1/3 c. ground Parmesan or Romano cheese
¼ c. chopped parsley
1 egg beaten
9 lasagna noodles cooked
2 c. mozzarella or provolone cheese (grated)

Directions

Boil the water with salt for the noodles and cook them. Drain.
In a frying pan, cook onions, garlic, and sausage (or beef or both) until done. Add the spaghetti sauce and mix together. Set aside. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, parsley and egg together.
In a 13x9x2 pan or casserole dish, put a little meat sauce on the bottom, 3 noodles side by side, meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella and repeat starting with the noodles. End with noodles, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 for 35–40 minutes.
