Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients

2 TBS. flour
2 TBS. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
¾ c. hot water
¾ c. evaporated milk
½ tsp. vanilla
2 TBS. butter

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Bring water to a boil and stir in hot water and bring mixture to a boil—stirring constantly. Take off burner and add evaporated milk and vanilla and butter. Makes about 1 ½ c. of sauce. This is a thin sauce.
